This past week, we went to #NorthDakota to tend to some family business. Because it would be three solid days of driving from #NorthCarolina (we know our limitations), we chose our pain and opted to fly. There are several inane and exasperating experiences to fret about during this trip, one of which I already posted; here, I’ll just talk about the flights.
#Flying commercially as a something other than a first-class passenger has long been a less than fun experience, as least here in the #USA. Now it is just miserable, depressing, and abhorrent.
This was our first flight since the #Covid19 #Insanity and #stupidity consumed the entire darn planet. Four legs: CLT-DFW-BIS on Wednesday, the BID-DFW-CLT on Sunday. Because everyone is walking around in a state of fact free hysteria and FEAR (False Expectations Accepted as Reality), the stupidity and #hypocricy we witnessed was simply amazing.
I’ve written extensively about the dangers of mask wearing, and I’m rehashing those arguments with someone on FaceBook, so I won’t belabor the issue here. If the reader is not familiar, please see my article for a summary. https://www.cranialrectalextraction.net/post/takethemaskoff
As we knew they would be “required”, we each had a mask for each day. My lady bought them specifically for the trip, and they read, “My Governor is an Idiot,” “Wake up Sheeple,” Masks Don’t Work,” and the fourth has several sheep on it. We only wore then going down the ramp, as the gate agents were insistent, and pulled them off as soon as we were off the jet each leg. We did not wear them in the terminals.
Among other things, what was really sad to me was how empty CLT and DFW were and seeing all the small shops closed. I’ve been thru both airports many times in the past, especially when flying for NetJets (NJA) While at NJA, I always moaned that “airline-ing” at the beginning and end of each duty week was the worst part of the job, especially the cacophony of the terminals (ALT in particular), I’ll gladly take that hustle and bustle to the eerie zombie land that they have become.
On the #SkyLink at DFW on the way home, the car we got was dystopianly empty – only the two of us, a bagger, and an older gent who was obviously struggling breathing. We told him he didn’t have to wear the mask, take it off, they don’t work, yada, yada yada. He finally did take the darn ting off and a look of relief came upon his face. The bagger, who was sitting across from him, was petrified with fear, however.
He tried to explain how deadly the Crayola Virus is, explaining that he had a family member in ICU. Yes, yes, we know, we had just come from laying her father to rest after dying of complication from COVID-19 because he was 82, had respiratory complications from strokes, and did not receive prompt, nor correct medical care. Her cousin also just recovered from a bout with COVID-19 and we were all please to see him at the funeral and wake. So, yes we get it, it will get you if you are in an at risk demographic, but if you are reasonably health, it is like a bad flu, her cousin describing it as such with just much more pain. You’ll live people.
At the sink in the men’s room at DFW, I ask the AA captain next to me, who was wearing a very patriotic style mask, when the union was going to push back on the stupidity. His reply was. “As long as the CDC keeps the recommendations up…” We had a bit of a terse exchange after I informed him that the CDC was lying and as we went our separate ways, he suggested I get a contact at the CDC. When I sat down, I email the #WhiteHouse…
Again, while at DFW Sitting together at the gate next to the windows, well more the six feet away from anyone in front of us, one person diagonal behind me, a TSA agent casually walks up and asks us if we have masks. “Yes, and we’re not wearing them right now, thank you,” I replied and she walks on. She doesn’t work for the airport, which had the dumb signs posted everywhere, she doesn’t work for the CDC, she’s not a doctor or #healthcare professional, she works for TSA, which btw, stands for Total Stupidity America. Why the heck is she wandering the terminal acting like the darn mask #police!!?
At one gate, the agent had a latex glove on her right hand. A passenger’s paper boarding ticket wasn’t being read by the scanner. The agent nervously asked the passenger if she could touch the boarding pass, to which the passenger agreed. The gate agent then holds the pass on the scanner with BOTH hands!
What was simply shocking to both of us was how the #flightattendants have morphed into #mask #Nazis.
On boarding the first flight, I was wearing the “Masks Don’t Work” mask and it was ever so slightly below my nose. The moronic Nazi FA snapped at me, “It has to be above your nose regardless of what is says!”
On every flight, as we boarded the jet, we were given a ludicrous quart size plastic bag with an 8 oz bottle of water, a small packet of chips, and a sanitary hand wipe. Because of “temporary modifications” (yeah right, temporary my behind), there was no food or beverage service on any flight.
Prior to each flight, the passengers are subjected to the following, of something similar:
“#AmericanAirlines is now requiring all passengers over the age of two to wear face mask over nose and mouth for the duration of the flight. Wearing a face mask complies with CDC guidelines and shows consideration for other passengers. If you cannot comply you will not be allowed to fly with us in the future.”
Notice the #psyops and #psychological programing within that announcement. Guilt shame and threats.
Of course, on three of the flight where the FAs had to actually make the announcement over the PA, rather than rely on a recording, we witness them pulling the mask down.
On the smaller jets, there was no O2 mask demo, since the FA’s would have to take off their Crayola Virus Shield, oh, I mean face mask. Then, rather than doing a cabin safety check prior to departure, the FAs announce and then check for proper face mask wearing by all passengers.
On the BIS-DFW leg, we witnessed a FA waking a sleeping passenger because his mask had slipped down under his nose. Several times, when I had pulled the darn thing down so I could breath, an FA informed me that it had to be over my nose. Off course it is acceptable to pull the darn thing down to much on the tiny bag of chips or sip some water, but it had better go back on right away!
For an industry that should be all too aware of the effects of hypoxia, it astonishes me that the #airlines are buying, and promoting, a wearing something that increases hypoxia among not only the passengers but the cockpit and cabin crew as well!! What the heck #sheeple!!?
While you can stand close together waiting in line to go down the jet way and sit next to another passenger for up to three hours, the FAs now strictly control the deplaning. Row by row, to provide separation between passengers, if you stand before the row in front of you has cleared, they yell at you on the PA! Faux hypocritical social distancing at its finest!
Is the inane stupidity, hypocrisy, and mere foolishness of all this starting to sink in? The wearing of face mask in public has absolutely NOTHING to do with public or individual heath and EVERYTHING to do with exerting control and forcing the population into submission. Period!
